Do you recognize yourself?
Your horse comes into your space and you don't know how to respond.
You step backwards because you don't feel safe.
Or you push your horse away—and afterward, you wonder if you were too strong and you feel guilty...
Maybe you've been taught that setting boundaries means being the boss, sending your horse away, or showing them who's in charge.
Or perhaps you've gone the other way and you avoid setting any boundaries because you're afraid of damaging the connection you've worked so hard to build.
Maybe your horse becomes more cautious around you.
Or perhaps they become obedient—but you sense they're responding because they are afraid of what might happen if they don't get out of your space.
You want something different.
You want to feel safe around your horse.
You want your horse to respect your space.
And you want to do that without losing the connection.

What if there is another way?

You NEED boundaries!
I often tell a horse I don't know:
“You are 600 kilos. I'm less than 60 kilos. You cannot run over me.”
But boundaries don't have to mean dominance.
And softness doesn't mean your horse running you over.
You want to be in the middle and radiate:
Clarity with softness.
My horses can come very close to me because I know they will respect my personal space.
It's not about pushing them away.
It's about feeling your own space and communicating it clearly.
And it’s not just about your horse
The way we create boundaries with our horses often reflects how we create boundaries in our own lives.
Where do you say YES when you really mean NO?
Where do you step backwards instead of holding your space?
Learning to feel your own space, communicate clearly, and stay connected without abandoning yourself is something that reaches far beyond your horse.
Because boundaries aren't about pushing others away.
They're about creating safety for genuine connection.
During this workshop,
we'll explore...
How to create a training environment where both you and your horse can feel safe enough to communicate.
We'll explore what happens when communicating boundaries is:
Too strong — creating fear, reactivity, and a breakdown of trust.
Too careful — creating a horse pushing you away or running you over.
And what becomes possible when you find the space in between:
Clear boundaries. Soft communication. Relaxed connection.
You'll learn to set your own boundaries, understand your horse's boundaries, and respond when either of you says NO.
Imagine...
Feeling safe enough to let your horse come close.
Knowing where your space begins and ends.
Being able to say “this is my space” without becoming fierce.
And being able to hear your horse say “NO” without taking it personally
You don't have to choose between safety and connection.
You can have both.

First I’d like to say thank you Lucie !! What a fantastic work you have laid into this. It’s just so helpful to see things from scratch, in different ways the horses and people can react to the exercises. Just looove it !!!! You explain everything so well !!! I’m soooo happy that I finally learned how to breathe properly and to feel and love the feeling of my body and my presence and I think my horse loves the clarity I now give her ❤️
Through your online course, I have become even more aware of myself, where my head, heart and body are at. How I am holding myself, where my breath is, generally how I am feeling all of the time. My dear horse Harry absolutely loves it when I do the shaking! I like to close my eyes and really get into it, opening them when I am nearly done to find Harry staring right at me saying “THANK YOU for releasing that tension, I can be with you now”. I just love this. Our bond has strengthened so much and I thank you Lucie from the bottom of my heart for sharing your knowledge and learnings with us! xxxx Cath.
A different way of learning
This workshop isn't about being the boss.
It's about learning to feel your own space without losing connection.
Because when boundaries are clear and communication remains soft, you create a space where both horse and human can feel safe, confident, and connected.
MORE CLARITY. MORE SAFETY.
MORE CONFIDENCE. MORE CONNECTION.
